Hello... My name is Karlee and I am a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. I was born with 2 legs, but sadly cancer took 1, my left leg. I remember feeling sad having to be in the hospital a lot, except for when people would come out of nowhere and into my room and say "Would you like this?" It was a toy, WOW that brought such a smile to my face. It made me feel like the kid that I am, playful and happy. I would like to do the same for other sick kids. I still get check up's at Shiners Hospital in Portland, OR for my prosthetic and rehabilitation. I think they are a great hospital and deserve to get these toys for the children. No child should have to go thru this, but they need to know that people still care and want to put a smile back on their face. I hope to one day sell as many bracelets as the Livestrong bracelets, as well as other items in my store:
